This is a pewter pendant of the "Year of the Rooster" from the Chinese Horoscope. The pendant comes on a story card with a 36 inch black slip knot adjustable necklace. The pendant is cast from lead-free SafePewter brand metal and made in the USA. See alternate picture for size perspective. The Chinese Horoscope is based on the 12 animals that visited Buddha on his deathbed. The horoscope runs in 12 year cycles and those born in that year possess attributes of the animal they are born under. <BR><BR> People born in The Year of the Rooster are incisive thinkers, hard working and always faithful devoted to their work. They are industrious and outgoing. In fact, when the occasion calls for it. Rooster-year people can be quite heroic.

Nice Little Accessory
Bought this to show off my proud heritage as a Metal Rooster. ;) So yeah...

The cord is made of sturdy stuff and a decent length, the pendant is a bit on the small side, if it was just a little larger it would be perfect. As it is its fine and the design and material are both good stuff so I won't grumble too loudly. Very well made and recommended.
