Love this Item
This is the best invention for grilling on top of the stove. Use it with the grill pan. Chicken comes out so tasty. It cooks faster and stays moist. I don't know how I did without it.

Excellent
I've been satisfied with Old Mountain products previously, and this one is no exception. It's solidly built, nice and heavy, and the coil handle does cool reasonably quickly. My only minor complaint is that the heads of the screws holding the handle on are exposed on the bottom of the press, and mine protruded slightly when we received it. I tightened them down and it's been fine, and I suppose if you're using this with other cast iron cookware, there's no real danger of damaging anything, but it wasn't exactly what I'd expected.

This bacaon press makes getter near-perfect bacon everytime easy. I'm sorry that I had not bought one years ago.

My Favorite Press
This is an everyday press I use in cooking not only bacon but just about everything in my round cast iron pans that require a press. You will not regret buying this one. It's heavy duty and good quality. And honestly, NO ONE sells cast iron like Amazon and their shipping is crazy. Don't know how they do it, but I'm glad they do!

Rooster Aficionados Ahoy!
I got this for my grandmother who is a rooster aficionado, so it was a perfect gift for her! I don't think she has used it to press bacon at all, but it's a great little display item for her rooster-infested kitchen!
